Ways to Give!
The Pen Ryn Fund
The Pen Ryn School Annual Giving Fund is an annual fundraising endeavor that provides financial support for expenses not covered by the tuition. You may apply your gift to the following areas: Pen Ryn School's Most Appropriate Need, Technology, Scholarship Fund, Faculty Development, and our Educational Program.
Our goal is for 100% participation from our families, faculty, and the board. We all share the responsibility for the well-being, fiscal and otherwise of our school. Every constituency of the community from the Board, parents, and faculty, to grandparents and alumni, are asked to contribute as generously as possible. Gifts are tax-deductible and directly impact every child's Pen Ryn Experience. It's all about our children!

How to Give Securities
Giving appreciated securities (stocks, bonds, and mutual funds) is a convenient way to support The Pen Ryn School, while gaining tax advantages. You receive an income tax deduction for the full value of the stock on the date of the gift, provided you have owned the securities for more than 12 months. Most donors avoid the capital gains tax otherwise due on the sale of the securities. You are urged to consult your tax professional before making gifts of appreciated stock.
Corporate Matching Gifts
Hundreds of corporations match the charitable contributions made by their employees, directors, employee’s spouses, or retirees. You may double your campaign gift by checking with your company’s Human Resources Department to see if they participate in a matching gift program. If they do, simply request and complete your company’s matching gift form and include it with your gift to the school.
Planned Giving
Gift planning offers you the chance to give to the Pen Ryn School now or after your lifetime, helping you align your charitable giving with your overall financial and estate plans. A properly planned gift may help you reduce or eliminate capital gains and gift and estate taxes.
Pennsylvania’s Educational Improvement Tax Credit Program (EITC)
The Commonwealth of Pennsylvania offers a unique opportunity for businesses (and qualified individuals) in the state of Pennsylvania to reduce tax liability by contributing to registered scholarship organizations such as the Pen Ryn School. For details on how to take advantage of this program, please contact Natasha Falcone, Director of Advancement, at nfalcone@penryn.org.
