History
Pen Ryn can trace its roots back to 1910 with the modern-day Pen Ryn beginning at the historic Pen Ryn Mansion in Andalusia. The school served 150 children in this idyllic setting along the Delaware River from 1946 to 1986. To accommodate more students and provide more complete facilities, Pen Ryn purchased the former Fairless View Elementary School from the Pennsbury School District in 1986. The current location makes Pen Ryn accessible to families in the ten area school districts and also New Jersey.
Since 1946, The Pen Ryn School has been making a difference in the lives of its students by providing them with a very special experience that emphasizes academic challenge and well-rounded personal development. Small classes, individual attention, and a nurturing, family-like atmosphere have been the foundation of Pen Ryn’s success with students for almost 70 years.
