The Office of Advancement at The Pen Ryn School
The Office of Advancement at The Pen Ryn School is committed to supporting and advancing the school’s mission by fostering a culture of philanthropy, volunteerism, and community connection. Through meaningful engagement with current families, alumni, faculty, staff, and community partners, the Advancement Office helps ensure Pen Ryn remains a vibrant and thriving learning environment.
At the heart of the Advancement Office’s work is the Pen Ryn Annual Fund, our most important fundraising initiative. The Annual Fund directly supports every aspect of the Pen Ryn experience, from attracting and retaining exceptional teachers to enhancing academic programs, improving facilities, and supporting financial aid. As an independent school, Pen Ryn relies on this annual generosity to help bridge the gap between tuition revenue and the full cost of delivering an exceptional education.

In addition to the Annual Fund, the Advancement Office administers the Educational Improvement Tax Credit (EITC) Program, offering individuals and businesses the opportunity to support Pen Ryn while receiving significant Pennsylvania state tax credits. This program plays a key role in expanding access to a Pen Ryn education for families across a range of economic backgrounds.
The Office of Advancement also leads our Alumni Association, helping graduates stay engaged through special events, volunteer opportunities, and ongoing communication. Alumni remain a vital part of the Pen Ryn story, contributing to the school’s legacy and growth.

Beyond fundraising, the Advancement Office strengthens community bonds through signature events such as the International Culture Fest, the annual school auction, participation in local community events, and active membership in the Chamber of Commerce. These initiatives, along with our quarterly Advancement Newsletter, help keep our community informed, connected, and inspired.
