Lower School

The Lower School years are a time of tremendous growth, discovery, and foundation building. At Pen Ryn School, our Kindergarten through Fourth Grade students learn in a nurturing environment where they are known, valued, and encouraged to reach their full potential.

 

Our dedicated teachers recognize that every child learns differently and work to provide the right balance of support, challenge, and encouragement for each student. Through engaging, research-based instruction in reading, writing, mathematics, science, and social studies, students develop the academic skills and confidence needed for future success.

 

Beyond the classroom, Lower School students enjoy two daily recesses and six specialty classes that enrich their educational experience and foster creativity, curiosity, and personal growth. With a strong emphasis on character, community, and joyful learning, Pen Ryn's Lower School provides a foundation that helps children thrive both academically and socially.
